At Defense Training System LLC, our mission is to provide top-notch firearm handling training for those seeking to obtain their NYS Conceal Carry License, as well as licenses in New Jersey, Florida, and Connecticut. We are dedicated to ensuring our students gain the knowledge and skills necessary for safe and responsible firearm handling, while also offering comprehensive security guard training.

8 Hour Pre-Assignment Training
Our services offer students the essential 8 hours of security guard training mandated by the State of New York, which also includes components on firearm handling training for those pursuing a NYS Conceal Carry License.
16 Hours (OJT) One the Job Training
As required by the State of New York, the additional 16 hours of OJT must be completed following an 8-hour Annual Training that is necessary for security guard training, which includes firearm handling training and is required once a year for those obtaining a NYS Conceal Carry License.
47 Hours Armed Security Training
To obtain an Armed Security Officer License, you must first secure your NYS Conceal Carry License. After that, you are required to complete 47 hours of security guard training, which includes firearm handling training. Additionally, to maintain compliance, you must participate in an 8-hour Armed Annual training session each year.
